Unlike Avid, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a live tech support person on the phone at Corel/Roxio. Apparently Avid/Pinnacle was acquired by Corel Corporation a few years ago. I owned Pinnacle Studio Version 14 for many years and it worked great. I am learning first hand why the once huge company lost it's market wars with Microsoft and has been reduced to an unknown name. In a nutshell, I highly recommend you avoid this product and anything else produced by Corel. In reviewing Corel's policies for returns and replacements, I found that the company has an extremely user un-friendly policy, despite the common problems with the product. In this case, I did not come close to getting what I paid for and I regret the purchase. I bought this software because of it's price relative to other similar products. I had a week to do it and could not resolve the problems with this software. I bought this to make a collage for my brothers funeral. Contact with customer service revealed more time consuming, "possible" fixes for the problem. Several possible workarounds offered by the product maker.
